Keep our Support Line open

Price: £5.00

Where do families and carers go when they have a question about an ill loved one? If someone has just been diagnosed, where can they go for information and guidance?

That’s why we set up the Marie Curie Support Line. Our advisors are trained to offer practical information and emotional support ,whatever a person’s situation is. Whether somebody has questions on managing day-to day care, are looking for financial information or just need a friendly ear. They’re also there for emotional support or when someone just needs to talk, this can be patients, family members, friends or carers. Your gift keeps our line open so everyone has a place to call when they need it most.

100% of profits from every product goes towards providing high quality care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes.

When you send a loved one a Gift that Matters, they'll receive an email with your personalised message. We'll send it out either straight away or whenever you want. Along with your message they'll get a link to their gift.

This goes to a beautiful page showing exactly what your gift is and how it helps us. There's a message from one of our Marie Curie Nurses, and a story from someone who's been helped by the gift you're sending.

Sending a Gift that Matters is simple. Just follow these three easy steps and we’ll do the rest.

  1. Write a message to the special someone you're sending the gift to.
You can add your own message to your gift and let them know it's from you.
  2. Fill in their email address and click 'Checkout' to buy your gift.
Just like any other item in our shop, your gift will go in your basket for you to buy.
  3. We'll send your gift for you.
We can send your gift straight away or on a date you specify.

The Marie Curie Helper service has made a big difference to my life. When you can’t always get out to see people, it’s nice to have the company of someone like Brenda.
