Overpriced

Paperback cover with inferior quality pages. The pages look cluttered, with several to a page. There seems to be a lot of dry, historical narrative. I think you’d have to be really interested in wars and history to appreciate it all. The solutions are at the end of the book. I’m hoping the military history buff I intend to give it to will find the puzzles diverting.

A fascinating book for anyone interested in challenging puzzles, ciphers and enigma's.

When I get a minute, I like to challenge what brain cells I have left with the odd puzzle. I have quite a collection of puzzle books from various organizations and I was delighted when I found one I had not seen on the Marie Curie website, namely 'The Imperial War Museum's Code Breaking Puzzles book'. This book is full of intriguing and some quite challenging puzzles and ciphers. It also has some fascinating facts about codes and cryptography. I am lookiing forward to tackling these enigma's in the coming weeks.
